dr rock pageDr Nathan Rock currently practices optometry specializing in refractive and cataract surgery and anterior segment disease at Wang Vision Cataract & LASIK center. He attended Southern College of Optometry and then completed residency program in primary care with an emphasis on ocular disease at the Portland Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, receiving his certificate through Pacific University. Doctor Rock advises keratoconus patients regarding non-surgical and surgical options including corneal cross-linking, Intacs, and corneal transplantation and provides pre and post-operative care for these surgeries.

Dr Nathan Rock currently practices optometry specializing in refractive and cataract surgery and anterior segment disease at Wang Vision Cataract & LASIK center. He is originally from Michigan and attended Oakland University for his undergraduate education. He attended Southern College of Optometry and enjoyed opportunities to participate in humanitarian eye care missions in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Honduras as well as rural Tennessee and Kentucky as a student. He also served as a tutor and graduate assistant and was awarded the Outstanding Clinician Award. He completed a residency program in primary care with an emphasis on ocular disease at the Portland Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, receiving his certificate through Pacific University. Dr. Rock joined Wang Vision Cataract & Lasik Center in 2014 He is a member of the fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr Rock advises keratoconus patients regarding non-surgical and surgical options including corneal cross-linking, Intacs, and corneal transplantation and provides pre and post-operative care for these surgeries. He also served at the clinical study coordinator for Wang Vision’s FDA clinical trials, including the trial for corneal cross-linking which resulted in its FDA approval.
