Dr Jason Wang

Jason J. Wang, M.D., eye physician and surgeon at Omni Eye Specialists, trained at Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, and University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago. After residency, he obtained subspecialty training in Cornea Transplantation and LASIK Refractive Surgery by completing a fellowship program at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Dr. Wang has contributed to the field of corneal disease and refractive surgery with scientific publications in medical literature and most recently by presenting his work at a national ophthalmic meeting for which Dr. Wang garnered “Best Paper of Session” distinction. During medical school and residency, he participated in research involving retinal pigment epithelial transplantation and corneal epithelial stem cell survival. Dr. Wang is board certified in ophthalmology.

 He is a member of the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Castroviejo Cornea Society, and fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Wang strives to keep abreast of the latest advances in cataract, corneal and refractive surgery. He was the first ophthalmologist in Colorado to implant Intacs® under an FDA-approved status for the surgical treatment of Keratoconus.
